Shipping

The Wikimedia Foundation wishes to provide an economical shipping option for all of our shoppers from around the world. As part of this we offer a maximum shipping cost of $15 USD world wide for most orders ('Wikimedia Global Flat Rate"). The cheapest option will be shown automatically and you will have the option to choose from a variety of faster options from the US Postal Service and FedEx for a higher price. If your order does not qualify for the $15 USD maximum (it is not shown and the price is higher) you can contact merchandise@wikimedia.org to try and find a more economical shipping option.

All Orders will ship with USPS or FedEx from our South San Francisco location, unless otherwise specified. In most cases, your items will ship within 72 hours, but new products may take 1-2 weeks. Generally orders will arrive within 6-10 Business Days, depending on your location. You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking numbers, if available, via email.

If an item you have ordered is out of stock, we will contact you directly to let you know the estimated date of delivery.

SECURITY INFORMATION
In order to ensure safety, all the data exchanged with the Wikimedia Foundation, our fulfillment company and Shopify is protected and encrypted. Our fulfillment company uses VeriSign as their certifying authority, Shopify uses Geotrust/Equifax and both partners use the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption protocol, the most widely accepted Internet encryption standard.

As of January, 2012, our fulfillment company and Shopify are up to date with the latest in PCI Compliance.
